500 grams dried figs
500 grams sugar
500 grams fresh cream
100 grams almonds, crushed
– Let the figs expand in water overnight.
– Drain them well.
– Place the figs in a saucepan and cover with water. Boil for 20 minutes.
– Pour off half the water, add the sugar to the figs. Stir and boil 25-30 minutes more.
– Let cool.
– Put the figs on a plate and open each one and put a spoon of cream in the center.
– Pour the syrup from the saucepan over the figs. Sprinkle with the crushed almonds.
