1 kg red mullets
1 cup flour
1 cup oil
1 lemon, sliced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 bunch parsley, chopped
– Gut and wash the fish well and leave to drain.
– Sprinkle them with salt and pepper to taste, 20 minutes before frying.
– Coat in the flour. Fry them until golden brown and drain on paper towell.
– Decorate with sliced lemon and springs of parsley.
